Personal care assistance in washing and dressing.
At PIKA Limited, we offer professional, reliable support to all of our patients. Our Personal care assistance services provide full assisted washing, dressing, and related practical support. We want our patients to feel like they are as independent as possible and try to make our support as unobtrusive as we can. Whatever the hour may be, our licensed practitioners are readily available to cater to your needs.
Meals and maintaining fluid intake
With our meals and maintaining fluid intake services, patients can feel confident that their nutritional and hydration requirements will be met without sacrificing their daily routine. This includes preparation of breakfast, precooked and cooked meals, and oral mouth care assistance after eating. We'll discuss menu options with every patient at the start of each week and we'll happily cook meals to the patients specifications.
Toileting and cleaning of user's immediate environment.
Unfortunately if someone is long term sick disabled or elderly it can become difficult for them to ensure a safe clean and hygienic environment within their own home. That's where our toileting and cleaning of user's immediate environment service can provide much needed support. Unclean and unhygienic environments can lead to bacteria and infection which is the last thing our patients need, PIKA Limited ensures this is taken care of.
Assistance with getting up and going to bed
After a long day curling up safe and warm in bed is something most of us take for granted. PIKA Limited's assistance with getting up and going to bed service delivers that warm feeling of safety for those who find it difficult or impossible to get into or out of bed on their own. Our friendly assistance staff can be on hand whenever they are needed. We'll even make the bed too.
PIKA Limited follows all updated government and public health guidance to prevent and control outbreaks of infectious illness such as Covid-19.
PIKA Limited will make sure that all risks are identified, and that measures to control or prevent these risks are clearly documented. Copies of these documents will be provided to all staff and service users upon request.
